"[My Shining Hour] sounds like a pretty vain title but it WORKS! The CD features Williamson’s wonderful jazz vocal work! She’s a natural that will bring joy to the soul of even the most conservative listener! I’m not usually a great fan of standards, preferring original works, by Patrice makes them come alive so well that it’s truloy easy to envision oneself in the blue-smoke room with a mint julep or whiskey sour! Her rendition of "Blue Skies" was a particular favorite–her voice and the instruments melt together like butter on hotcakes!
